Biography:

I work as a leadership performance coach, supporting school leaders in the UK and internationally. This includes coaching over 100 NPQH participants and currently supporting more than 70 NPQSENCO delegates, much of this work delivered remotely.

I also work with the DfE in an advisory capacity as an inclusion expert, providing guidance and professional insight to support inclusive practice. This role focuses on offering informed advice.

Alongside this, I am involved in international education projects focused on teacher development, curriculum design and leadership training. This work includes projects in the Kingdom of Tonga, Afghanistan, Cambodia, South Sudan, Kenya and Cambodia. Through these roles, I have worked with colleagues across different levels of education systems, from classroom teachers and school leaders to system-level stakeholders. Working across diverse contexts has strengthened my ability to listen carefully, understand complexity quickly and adapt my support to different professional, cultural and organisational settings.

My previous school-based roles include Executive Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, SENCO and Director of Teacher Training. I hold a Master’s degree in education and have worked in leadership development for over 15 years, including 5 years as a school leadership coach.

My coaching approach is grounded in listening, trust and reflective dialogue. I create a space where leaders can think openly, explore uncertainty and clarify their decision-making. Coaching often focuses on integrity, school improvement, planning and implementation, accountability and managing change. I see coaching as a powerful way for leaders to build confidence, agency and clarity in how they lead.
