Biography:

Mental Fitness | Relationship Intelligence | Trusted Support

Hello, I’m Julie.

Having been in education for 30 years - teaching, advisory roles and coaching school leaders - I understand the unique pressures primary school leaders face, often as they juggle their own family life, responsibilities and relationships too. I help them to thrive in their role, supporting school leaders so that they can guide themselves and their teams with clarity, strength and heart.

Our coaching time together will give you the space to pause and stop pushing through. Instead you will relax, and find fresh perspective. You’ll find you can innovate and create concrete new steps forward.

I understand the worry and self-doubt that school leadership roles can sometimes inflict. Such as anxiety over staff relationships or performance and having ‘tricky’ conversations, or situations that ‘feel off’. The belief that if one works hard enough, then one will reach a feeling of ‘control’ (that never arrives!) The deep caring for others that can lead to lack of care and depletion of oneself.

I also know that with the right support, school leadership can be immensely satisfying, successful and sustainable. Leading through one’s strengths, and growing those strengths.

With individual or group coaching, I offer trusted and non-judgemental support, helping leaders find ease and flow amidst the unpredictability and intensity of school life. I work online and also in person. My children are now young adults and I am able to divide time between my roots in the South West and London.

I am mindful of school budgets and ensure my rates are accessible as I believe all school leaders can and should benefit from coaching. I have over 1,000 hours of coaching experience. My clients tell me that they feel clearer, more resilient, and empowered through our work together.

In terms of training and qualifications, I have advanced coach training and PCC status (Professional Certified Coach) with the International Coaching Federation.

2014 Certified Professional Co-Active Coach respected world-wide as the gold standard coaching model.

2015 Certified Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC)

2016 Certified Leadership Circle Profile

2022 Advanced Mental Fitness Mastery with Shirzad Chamine

2023 Certified Positive Intelligence Mental Fitness Coach

I also have a Bachelor Hons. and Masters Degree – both in Education.

But beyond certificates and accolades, I care deeply about helping Primary School Leaders to lead in a sustainable and balanced way, so that they love their jobs and lead in a way that enables their schools to thrive.

If any of this resonates with you, I’d like to invite you for a complimentary initial session - obligation free, of course, just a chance to speak to one another. Together, we can explore how coaching support might look for you.

I look forward to chatting.
