I believe passionately in supporting staff at all levels to develop their self-belief to succeed. I have supported staff in all of my schools to make progress in their careers, from helping lunchtime supervisors to gain functional skills qualifications and progress to support staff roles in school and guiding support staff to move into teaching careers, as well as progressing teaching staff through a variety of NPQs and into leadership roles. I enjoy coaching as it enables people to identify their own areas for development and see my role as a facilitator to help them to find their own solutions to the challenges which they might face. I have had very positive feedback from staff I have supported in my own schools as well as external work I have done through a Research School with both individuals and teams in a variety of areas.
