Biography:

How you treat yourself will determine how you relate and treat others.

Following twenty years leadership experience across two secondary schools as Deputy Head Pastoral and DSL, I now work as an Alternative Provision Lead for neurodivergent students.

My pastoral background naturally lent itself to adopting a coaching approach which I then formalised 3 years ago on completing the Level 7 Coaching and Mentoring Qualification with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

Alongside running the AP at May Blossom Farm, Rugby, West Midlands, I am an independent coach, supervisor in training (with The Coaching Catalyst) and safeguarding consultant. I work with leaders in both the public and private sector.

My work is underpinned by one main principle – human being first. I believe each of us has the potential for growth if the conditions allow it, and my calm, non-judgemental and psychologically safe approach enables leaders to explore who they are, how they lead and what impact their workplace has on their health and wellbeing.

I bring a trauma informed, person-centred lens to my work, supporting leaders to understand relational dynamics so they strengthen their self-awareness.

By adopting a person-centred approach, I provide leaders with the space to notice, to detect patterns of behaviour and work through challenging situations so they gain clarity.

Leadership comes with relentless pressure and responsibility. This high level of challenge requires high support. Coaching and supervision enable leaders a safe space to think deeply, connect meaningfully and grow sustainably in their leadership role.
