Coach and leadership development consultant working with leaders in Education and The Arts.
I currently work with a variety of school leaders - Heads and Chief Execs, established and new. The focus of the work is finding the confidence, clarity and authenticity to lead as yourself, creating effective learning environments for all those involved.
So, whilst it’s not really about me, to help you choose the right coach for you, it might help you to know my qualifications include:
- Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching (accredited by the International Coaching Federation and the Association for Coaching)
- Master Practitioner (NLP) with International Teaching Seminars
- Diploma in School Business Management
- B.Ed. Hons. University of Lancaster
- Accredited teacher
And I’ve been coaching for long enough, working with enough people to back these qualifications up with significant experience.
Leadership in education is a challenge - the demands and expectations are high, and these are just your own.
It can also be a vulnerable place and there can be a lot to learn. Much of this learning is about processes, procedures, all those “how to’s”, but, ultimately, the greatest learning will be about yourself. This is tough to do on your own. As a coach I’m here to help.
This means many things - including listening, supporting and challenging. It can also mean pointing out what’s being missed, asking the questions others can’t and being someone you trust with the hard stuff.
It’s also about navigating the leadership course and putting it into practice.
If it feels right, I’d be happy to hear from you.
