Biography:

Headteacher of Vyners School and Executive Headteacher of the Vanguard Learning Trust in West London 2012-2018.

Founder of Flywheel Learning - Executive Coaching and Leadership Development for the public and private sector. Director of Leadership and Development for Tower Hamlets Education Partnership, supporting nearly one hundred East London schools operating in one of the most diverse and deprived boroughs in the country 2018- Present.

Strategic Lead for the School of PiXL leadership, designing and delivering virtual and face to face leadership programmes for member schools in Great Britain, Northern Ireland and internationally 2017- 2022.

I have been coaching full-time for over 6 years now. I currently work 1-2-1 with approximately 40 Headteachers, 10 CEOs and a number of senior leaders. I also work with a number of C-Suite Executives in the private sector. I am a member of the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council). As part of my Tower Hamlets role I have established a Headteacher Coaching programme for all Headteachers in the borough and employ a team of 7 executive coaches to help deliver this.

I believe that coaching is not a luxury or a nice to have; it is an essential part of a leader's professional growth and development. It creates a space where leaders can be vulnerable, explore their thinking and open themselves up to high challenge in a low threat environment. I believe in co-constructing and contracting the specific approach with each client. Through asking powerful questions, listening and using well-crafted provocations clients can surface and explore their thinking and decision making.
