(She/Her)

Biography:

With over a decade of experience in coaching and mentoring across various sectors, along with a robust educational background, I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively to your team.

I hold a CMI Level 5 qualification in Coaching and Mentoring, which has been instrumental in my ability to support and guide professionals in a range of leadership contexts. Currently, I facilitate coaching for primary, secondary, and special school leaders through my own business, as well as for colleagues in Higher Education through the University of Greenwich coaching network. I also facilitate leadership NPQs as a tutor and coach, as well as a asessor. This experience has provided me with a broad perspective on educational leadership and development.

In addition to my coaching qualifications, I hold an undergraduate degree with Qualified Teacher Status, Advanced Skills Teacher status, completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), and possess a postgraduate MA in Education. My current role in initial teacher education involves leading a team of educators, where I regularly engage in coaching and mentoring activities with both students and colleagues. This role has honed my leadership and interpersonal skills, enabling me to foster a supportive and productive learning environment. I also am a trustee for a group of schools with responsibility for inclusion.

I am deeply committed to helping others and bring an empathetic, compassionate, and supportive approach to my work as a coach. My passion lies in the application of positive psychology and human-centered coaching, with a focus on supporting individuals holistically.

In my coaching practice, I emphasise the importance of exploring the beliefs, values, and experiences that shape an individual’s thoughts and behaviours. By understanding these underlying factors, I am able to guide coachees toward meaningful and lasting change. I utilise a variety of coaching models tailored to the specific needs of each individual, drawing on the work of renowned experts such as Whitmore, Starr, Seligman, and Franklin.

Additionally, I incorporate a range of self-reflective and wellbeing tools designed to deepen self-awareness and foster personal growth. My approach is centred on empowering coachees to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, which in turn inspires and motivates them to take proactive steps in addressing the challenges they face.
