Biography:
Coach, Consultant, Leader
With 17 years of experience in an educational leadership role, including 5 years as Head of Secondary in an all-through school, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my coaching practice. As a dedicated mother of two small children, I have transitioned from full-time school leadership to pursue my passion for coaching in an alternative capacity.
My coaching journey began as an instructional coach, specialising in teaching and learning, which naturally evolved into adopting a coaching leadership style to mentor and empower middle and senior leaders. Currently, I dedicate my time to coaching leaders undertaking NPQ qualifications, while also facilitating and assessing NPQ programs online for participants from both the UK and international locations, including Dubai, UAE.
Continuing my commitment to lifelong learning, I am currently pursuing a Masters in Educational Leadership and a Level 7 Qualification in Coaching and Mentoring. These endeavours reflect my aspiration to continually enhance and refine my coaching practice.
In my coaching style, I foster a supportive, empowering, and solution-focused approach. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. Personal growth and self-discovery are at the core of my coaching philosophy, driven by a strong belief in the potential of every individual.
I employ a transformational approach, leveraging a diverse range of resources to tailor my coaching to the unique goals and needs of each client. Through thoughtful questioning, active listening, and reflective techniques, I assist clients in clarifying their objectives and developing a strategic plan of action. Throughout the coaching process, I provide unwavering encouragement, support, and accountability.
During each session, I uphold values such as positivity, openness, integrity, empowerment, empathy, and respect. As a reflective practitioner, I continuously refine my skills through self-reflection after each coaching session, ensuring ongoing growth and improvement
