Michele Sowden-Mehta is a Senior School Improvement Lead working across a Trust of primary schools, bringing over a decade of senior leadership experience, including nine years in headship and executive leadership roles. Michele holds the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL) through LLSE and has supported numerous colleagues through their own NPQ journeys. She also facilitates training and development programmes for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and mentors, contributing to leadership capacity-building across the sector.
Drawing on her extensive leadership background, Michele works closely with senior leaders to strengthen school improvement strategies, address complex challenges, and embed sustainable change. She employs a flexible and personalised coaching approach, using a wide range of models and techniques—such as the GROW model—tailored to individual needs and contexts. Her focus is on empowering leaders to grow in confidence, clarity, and impact.
